Buy Cockatiel in DLF Phase 1, Gurgaon

Availability in DLF Phase 1 and the rest of Gurgaon is updated as litters clear. A calm small breed moves quickly, so the useful question is which week rather than whether.

What the Gurgaon climate does to a Cockatiel

mild tropical plateau. In practice the plateau climate is relatively moderate, which suits a wide range of breeds For a small breed that means the hard exercise moves to either end of the day and the middle is spent indoors. Water goes everywhere the bird goes.

Flats, floors and a small breed

Space matters less than layout. A calm Cockatiel needs somewhere to settle that is not a corridor, and a surface that gives grip. Both are easier to arrange in a DLF Phase 1 flat than owners expect.

Living with a calm breed

Over 15-20 Years a Cockatiel becomes whatever the first six months taught it. calm is a starting point, not an outcome. The households that do well here are the ones that decided the rules before the bird arrived.

Paperwork and health checks

Every Cockatiel leaves with its vaccination record, deworming dates and a health check done before listing, not after booking. If a record is incomplete we hold the bird back rather than paper over it.

Cost of a Cockatiel in DLF Phase 1

Prices here start near ₹1,200. What moves them is lineage and age, not presentation - a well-grown Cockatiel from a documented litter costs more than one without papers, and it should. Anything advertised far below ₹1,200 is worth a hard question.

What a Cockatiel costs here

₹1,200 to ₹3,000 covers most placements in DLF Phase 1. The spread is the litter, the age at handover, and whether the health work was genuinely done. We would rather explain the figure than discount it.

What you get with the bird

Vaccination card, deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note — originals, signed and dated. Handover in DLF Phase 1 is scheduled outside peak movement, because a young Cockatiel in a stationary car in the heat is a bad start.
